CREDIT CARD ORDERS

RC DISCO Ltd accepts VISA and MasterCard as payment on orders shipping to anywhere in the world. When using your credit card, please provide your credit card billing address if different from the shipping address and daytime phone numbers. If the billing address or security code does not match that which is on file at the financial institution or if authorization is not given for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the order without notification. We cannot work out credit card problems with the financial institution; you must settle problems with them and reorder once the problem is resolved. Repeated attempts to authorise your credit card on the same order may result in an additional charge. We do not assume any responsibility for bank fees incurred by using a Debit Card for your purchase and/or return credit.

THIRD PARTY PAYMENT METHODS

When using a third party payment method such as PayPal, you may be referred directly to them to resolve issues with your payment account. We reserve the right to only ship product to confirmed addresses. We do not accept payments in the form of wire transfer.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

RC DISCO Ltd ships all over the world! All payments must be in the Currency we have chosen for your country. In most cases we offer International Air or UPS Worldwide Saver. UPS Worldwide Saver is recommended for quick delivery and includes tracking. Under no circumstances will we falsify invoices or shipping labels. The Customer is responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or custom fees. Inquiries regarding possible fees should be directed to your local authorities. Refused packages will affect your return credit. See Credits and Balance dues. Please do not request that we falsify invoices or suppress tariff codes or country-of-origin information. While we do ship to most international destinations, we are unable to serve some countries at this time due to trading law or credit card security reasons.

YOUR CUSTOMER REFERENCE

Every order you place is assigned a unique "order number" which will be printed on the invoice that you receive. Please use this reference whenever you contact us.

TELEPHONE ORDERS

We do not accept telephone orders.

BACKORDERS

RC DISCO Ltd will not automatically ship out back orders. If a product is sold out, you can add it to your "Back Order List" by clicking the “order” button for the product you need. The "back order list" works like a saved items list for out-of-stock products (You can remove items from your back order list at any time, there is no need for any payment or deposit.). When we receive new stock of any items on your back order list you will receive an automated email notifying you that they are now available. Once stock is in, simply return to you back order list and transfer them to your shopping cart. You can then proceed to checkout.

QUESTIONS ABOUT RECENTLY PLACED ORDERS

Please note that since we begin processing your order immediately after receiving it, we are unable to make changes or cancel the order once it is placed. You will receive an automated email when you have placed your order and once again with tracking number information, when your order has been shipped, but only if you have chosen your order to ship via courier. CREDITS 

Some pre-approved returns that fall outside of policy may be limited to merchandise credit only. We cannot give credits for merchandise unless we have proof of receipt. Any charges RC DISCO Ltd incurs as a result of a refused shipment will be adjusted from the return credit.
In some cases credits may be left on your account with us (with the exception of orders paid for by PayPal) can be used toward a future order. If the order was paid by credit/debit card, we will credit your card account. We will only credit the original card used on the order. If you no longer have that credit card, you will need to contact the issuing bank to work out arrangements.

RETURNING MERCHANDISE

You must not return anything without prior permission and you must make reference to the authorisation number provided by RC DISCO Ltd. The merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. We are unable to reimburse for return shipping costs. We do not accept returns via COD or any other collection method. COD packages will be refused. Packages billing RC DISCO Ltd will result in actual shipping charges billed back to sender unless other prior arrangements were made. There is no restocking fee for qualified returns. Building the kit, mounting and running fuel through a model engine, installing radio parts in a model, installing software or discarding the packing material are some examples of what constitutes used merchandise.

We aim to process all returns within 7 working days of receiving the returned goods.

CHARGE BACKS

When merchandise is purchased with a promotional discount based on the overall amount of the order, the discount may no longer apply once merchandise is returned. The result will be a charge back for the promotional discount. This can affect the credit given. If you have questions regarding the effect of your discount on your return, please contact sales@rcdisco.com

DAMAGED RETURNS

Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact sales@rcdisco.com with photos immediately. Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away! If you attempt to return the merchandise yourself, you will jeopardise our chances of making a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.

DEFECTIVE RETURNS

Manufacturer defects found after the product has been used (or after the build process has started)_revert to the manufacturer's warranty and we will handle any problems for you directly. Please do not return used merchandise without authorisation. 
If you can determine that a product is defective before using it, we may be able to accept it back for exchange or refund; however, we suggest that you contact sales@rcdisco.com before taking any action.

SHIPPING

We cannot accommodate requests for preferred shippers, only the choices offered at checkout are available. Once the order has shipped, we must allow the carrier a reasonable time frame to deliver. RC DISCO Ltd and/or carrier reserve the right to request a signature for proof of delivery. We cannot demand a shipment carrier to leave a package. You may contact the carrier for instructions on available options. Once the package is successfully delivered, we are not responsible for theft or damage to the merchandise. When using a forwarding company, we are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise after the forwarding company has accepted delivery. The forwarding company must report shipping damage for a claim to be filed. We are not responsible for delays in express delivery orders due to weather conditions and/or attempted deliveries. Export documentation will not be provided. Know who you are receiving a package for or forwarding a package to! If you accept a package that was purchased with a fraudulent credit card, you will be in possession of stolen merchandise. You may be responsible for any legal or collection action related to the shipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

LIMITS OF RESPONSIBILITY

We accept no responsibility for crash damage and/or loss of kits, engines, accessories, etc. incurred during operation of a radio-controlled model. In most cases it is very difficult or impossible to determine whether crash damage was actually due to radio equipment failure or to operator error. Also, we cannot be held responsible for any purchased components that are incorporated into radio systems or problems caused by incompatibility between radio components, parts, and repairs not completed by our service centre, etc.

It is impossible to guarantee product compatibility for product recommendations. We provide information and suggestions to the best of our abilities based on the information available to us at the time. We are unable to guarantee successful outcomes.

All of the products we sell to members of the public are intended for retail consumption by our customers and are not intended for resale. We reserve the right not to sell commercial quantities or to resellers. Any consequences arising out of the resale of merchandise purchased from RC DISCO Ltd are the responsibility of the seller, not RC DISCO Ltd. RC DISCO Ltd may revoke the ordering privileges of customers who purchase commercial quantities of our products.

We reserve the right to limit quantities and discounts. International radio frequency and electric current requirements are the responsibility of the buyer.

PRICE AND/OR DESCRIPTION CHANGES

All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other RC DISCO Ltd publications are subject to change. RC DISCO Ltd maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, RC DISCO Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.

Security

'RC Disco' uses a minimum 128 bit encryption when you visit our website to ensure your details are fully protected from 3rd parties.

We employ the services of a payment gateway to process all our online transactions in a secure manner. We do not capture any payment details relating to orders placed via the 'RC Disco' website as these are all handled and processed by a 3rd party payment gateway.

Personal Information

We do not collect any personally identifiable data from individuals unless specifically provided by the individuals. For example, you voluntarily provide your name, postal address, email address and phone number when you place an order on the 'RC Disco' website. We take the protection of your personally identifiable data very seriously and we comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 when handling your data. We will use any such information to respond to your requests. We reserve the right to retain the content of any email that we receive, including the email address from which it was sent, and our response in order to support your enquiries to the extent we are permitted to do so by Data Protection Act 1998 legislation.

We may share any of the information we gather on the 'RC Disco' website with our affiliates and service providers for the purpose of providing our services to you and for direct marketing, subject to your consent (please see 'Contacting You' below). We may also collect and store statistics and other information about the online activities of our visitors on an aggregate basis to help improve your experience of the 'RC Disco' website.

Sometimes 'RC Disco' retains the services of third parties to perform functions or services on our behalf. For example, we use service providers to validate and process secure internet transactions. 'RC Disco' uses 3rd party websites to process secure online transactions and has no access to your credit/debit card details. We do not store any of your personal information related to credit/debit card transactions.

We may disclose aggregated data to third parties. This type of information will not be linked to any personally identifiable information from which any individual person can be identified.

Once you have provided your email and postal addresses, telephone numbers or other contact information, we may, on occasion, contact you to provide information or offers that we think you may find useful or of interest. This is subject to your consent. Please note that we may occasionally contact you for administrative purposes even if you unsubscribe from our email or other promotional lists.
